Sweet summer rain

I like thunderstorms. So I suppose it's appropriate that I live in the lightening capital (not in any way saying that I want to get struck by lightening or enjoy lightening), but I do enjoy a good rumble of thunder. I love the rain coming down in the evening. I love the smell. And I love how (most of the time) it cools off the air after the rain. I suppose living in Florida isn't so bad, eh? :)

Looking forward to the weekend!! Sushi tomorrow with Justin for lunch, Rachel's spending the night tomorrow night, running/swimming with Rachel on Saturday morning and then Crystal Palace breakfast and playing in the parks all day Saturday!!

Austina arrives into town on Monday and is staying with me through Saturday. I haven't seen her in well over a year and a half so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her next week. And then...I'll be headed to O-HI-O. Love it.
