If Patience is a Virtue, I don't have Virtue

My patience has been short lately. I'll admit it. But especially today--for some reason today was especially frustrating. I found a new pet peeve. I cannot stand when people interrupt me. Cannot. Stand. It. And I felt like it happened all. day. long. I'm sitting here trying to think of accurate words to describe my frustration, but I'm at a loss. Nothing. It just makes me so stinking frustrated. And it's even more frustrating when people get louder to talk over you when they interrupt. Because trust me, I've tried to keep talking when someone interrupts me, but people have a habit of speaking louder to get their point across. ugh.

I think that's just one example of my shortened patience. I think I'm just so discontent with so many things right now that I find myself fidgety and anxious all of the time. I want to do something important, something that makes a difference, something that leaves a legacy...and I have no idea where to start. So basically I just find myself frustrated and impatient with my current situation (even though I will admit that life is good and swell and wonderful). But maybe this leads to a far bigger issue. I mean, am I meant to be content in this life? I'm searching for something when I know that the contentment that I'm searching for is Christ.

Sigh...someday I'll figure all of this. I suppose I need to work on that virtue thing right now...
