So I taught Adam about May Day today. Can you believe that he hadn't heard about the tradition of hodling the ends of ribbons attached to a pole and running in a circle. Yeah. I was surprised. I made him Wikipedia it. But only after he told me his explanation of what he knew of May Day. Which was this:
"it was day when the soviet union use to have big parades and show off their army and celebrate"--Adam
Haha. Quite the opposite of my knowledge of May Day. Not so light-hearted.
So, however you celebrate--army parade or pretty ribbons--Happy May Day!
(And if you were like me, you celebrated by playing with DisneyLink and becoming ridiculously frustrated today...but that's another story for another time...)
